Therapeutic yoga offers a more personalised and effective way to work with your body compared with general classes. My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic yoga techniques from my training with Yoga Medicine, alongside my professional background in occupational health. This means we look beyond just the movements and consider the bigger picture — including posture, daily workload, stress levels, sleep, recovery and overall lifestyle factors that influence your wellbeing.
Sessions may include targeted movement, breathwork, nervous system regulation and practical strategies to help you manage pain, improve mobility, reduce stress and support long-term health.
Many clients choose to combine therapeutic yoga with a health screening. This can be a particularly powerful approach, as screening helps us understand key markers such as cardiovascular health, metabolic function and lifestyle risk factors. When this information is combined with therapeutic movement and recovery strategies, it provides a much clearer picture of your overall health and wellbeing — allowing us to create a truly personalised plan for prevention, recovery and long-term resilience.
