Throughout the year I offer short Yoga courses which focus on a particular theme depending on the time of the year. Each course runs between 4-8 weeks with classes held at DownDog Studio, Charles Street, St Helier.

Releasing to Transform: The Art of Letting Go

8-Week Mindful movement & Mindfulness Course |

A holistic yoga experience designed to transition from winter's introspection to spring's vibrant growth, integrating subtle Chinese medicine principles, yogic philosophy, and mindful personal development.

Embrace the Wisdom of Autumn's Natural Rhythm

As nature begins her graceful release, shedding leaves and preparing for renewal, we too are invited to examine what we're ready to let go of. This transformative 8-week journey combines the therapeutic wisdom with mindful awareness practices to support you in releasing what no longer serves and creating space for authentic transformation.

What You'll Experience

Week 1-2: Recognition & Awareness

  • Gentle body scanning to identify areas of physical and emotional holding

  • Introduction to the nervous system and how trauma patterns store in the body

  • Mindful movement practices to increase somatic awareness

  • Journal Prompt: "What am I holding onto that feels heavy in my body? Where do I notice tension, and what might it be trying to tell me?"

Week 3-4: Safe Release

  • Therapeutic breathwork techniques for emotional regulation

  • Restorative poses and supported twists to release physical tension

  • Guided practices for processing difficult emotions with compassion

  • Journal Prompt: "What am I ready to release? What fears or resistance do I notice when I think about letting go?"

Week 5-6: Creating Space

  • Heart-opening sequences balanced with grounding poses

  • Meditation practices for acceptance and non-attachment

  • Exploring the relationship between physical alignment and emotional freedom

  • Journal Prompt: "As I create space within myself, what wants to emerge? What new possibilities am I noticing?"

Week 7-8: Integration & Transformation

  • Building sustainable daily practices for ongoing release

  • Cultivating resilience and nervous system regulation

  • Celebrating your capacity for growth and renewal

  • Journal Prompt: "How have I transformed through this practice of letting go? What daily rituals will support my continued growth?"

My Expertise

With specialised training as a Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist and mental health, I bring a unique therapeutic perspective to traditional yoga practice. My approach combines anatomical knowledge, nervous system science, and mindful awareness to create healing that addresses the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

Fertility

Derived from my own fertility experience, these classes are designed to support both men and women who are experiencing fertility struggles. Whether you are in treatment or about to embark on treatment, these classes are designed to support you throughout your journey.

Our goal is to provide a space where you can tune in to your mind and body and switch off from the mental effort fertility can take. A space for you to rest, relax and tune in to your true self.

Each class will use Mind/Body movement, targeted myofascial release, acupressure points breath work and space for meditation.
